MyLibraryDV - Downloadable Video
MyLibraryDV is a unique broadband video-on-demand service created by Recorded Books in partnership with Henderson Libraries. You can access hundreds of hours of DVD-quality programming such as cooking, fitness, travel, classic and independent films and more with your library card number and PIN.
MyLibraryDV launches Hollywood Favorites & World Cinema and Sony Pictures Entertainment! You can now download Academy Award® winning films from legendary directors and the greatest actors and actresses to ever grace the Silver Screen. From heartbreaking romance to thrilling adventure and light comedy, MyLibraryDV features the films that remind us why we love cinema. If you have already installed MyLibraryDV, upgrade now to see more exciting movies!Downloads: Each patron is allowed 10 downloads in a seven day period for the basic MyLibraryDV service. This basic service encompasses all categories except for Sony Pictures, Foreign Films, and Hollywood Favorites World Cinema. For Sony Pictures/Foreign Films, and Hollywood Favorites, each patron is allowed 1 download in each category in a seven day period.
- To access and download MyLibraryDV, please install the download manager (this is a one-time requirement that takes 2 to 4 minutes)
- After initial download, use the MyLibraryDV icon on your computer to access and manage your downloads.
Software requirements:
- A broadband Internet connection (DSL, cable, etc.)
- The most recent version of your browser (Firefox and Internet Explorer provide optimal results)
- Microsoft Windows 2000 with SP4 or Windows XP with SP2
- FlashPlayer 9 and Windows Media Player 10 with the most recent security update
- 1 gigabyte of available hard-drive space
- 1 GHz processor or greater (supports simultaneous record/playback features)

Launch your application. If you are not prompted within 5-10 seconds to update your version of the application, please close and reopen the application.

Within several minutes, you will detect this upgrade taking place by clicking on the movie button in the left-hand side of the channel guide—the number of subcategories will increase from two to three, four and eventually five categories, including Sony Pictures Entertainment and Hollywood Favorites & World Cinema collections.

Towards the end of the upgrade, a prompt will appear to add new content—click “yes” to enjoy hundreds of films and television episodes from the new collections now on the channel guide.
