What Can I Do From Home?

What Information Do I Need?

The Barcode Number is your 14 digit Library Card number found on the back of your Library Card. 
The Password is a 4 digit number of your choice. We often default to the last 4 digits of your phone number, so try this first if you have not already set up your PIN. You must set this up by calling one of our library locations. (If you had a PIN in our previous catalog system, the number is the same.)

How Do I Place Requests?

  1. Please note: Requests take at least one day to process. Please wait for notification before attempting to pick up your item.
  2. Search for your item using the Library Catalog.
  3. When you retrieve a list of items, click on Place Request listed underneath your item of choice.
  4. If you have not already logged in, you will be prompted for your Barcode Number and Password, defined above.
  5. Select which library will be your pick-up point from the drop-down box.
  6. Enter the date you want your hold to be activated. This is usually the day your placing the request, but if you will be out of town, you can put a later date so that your item won't come in and be returned in your absence. 
  7. Click Submit Request.
  8. A message stating "Your request has been placed" will appear if everything is correct with your hold.
