Assignment Alert

Teachers, help us help your students!
Tell us what assignments your students
will be researching at our libraries.
We will work to have the required materials
available when and where they are needed.

Henderson teachers have a supportive partner in the Henderson District Public Libraries. HDPL can help provide resources for your students to complete your class assignments.

Fill out our Assignment Alert Form with information about your upcoming assignments including subject, class size, grade level, short description, and what materials may be used by the students, then return it to any of the Henderson District Public Libraries by
e-mail at AssignmentAlert@hdpl.org, fax, mail, or in person.

Our Reference and Youth Departments will scan our collections to see that we have the necessary materials to complete the assignment. If not, we may add new titles, restrict the number of items each student may check out, or place some items on reserve for library use only so that all your students will have equal access to the resources needed.

As soon as you know what assignments you’ll be giving out, send in your Assignment Alert Forms. The more lead-time we have, the better prepared we can be to assist your classes.
