Database Instructions

Searching Online Databases from Home
(These include magazine, encyclopedia, newspaper articles and much more)

1. On the left hand side of the page, move your mouse over the phrase "Research"
2. Click the appropriate subject heading that appears on the right (i.e. encyclopedias, newspapers, etc.)
3. Next click the database you wish to search (or move your mouse over the phrase "Research" to select a different subject heading)
4. Enter your 14 digit library card and click "Authenticate" 
5. NOTE: Ancestry.com, NewEnglandAncestors.org and WorldVitalRecords.com are only searchable from within the library.
